The dialogue on this show is just so uncharacteristically good for Star Wars, it really caught me off guard. Especially that scene with the inspector and the deputy. Just fantastic writing and delivery. "You look stricken, deputy inspector."

This first episode really gives me hope that this is going to be the dark, gritty series I've been hoping it will be. It is obviously gonna have some levity and humor to it, but they don't seem to be doing it at the expense of the atmosphere. Additionally the sets look great so far, this world legitimately feels lived in.

I love all the shows so far, and I love how Mando, Boba, Obi-Wan and now Andor are all a little different styles in the same world. Next year Mando is back, then followed by Ashoka. I think Ashoka will be more mystical then the others.

Really smart of Disney to publish those 3 episodes at once. The first 2 were pretty good and hooked me, but the 3rd one... Can't wait for more now!

I'm loving Andor so far. It's refreshing to have a Star Wars with no Skywalker family or Jedi in it. Nice change of pace. I especially love the music for this series with the heavy drums.

Loved the show! Didn’t mind the slow pacing, quite liked how well set up each character is!

I would be a little mad if they only released 1 episode, but watching all 3 in a row, the series is amazing, is a different story, in the Star Wars universe, they could had stormtroopers and Empire officers all the time, fan service and nostalgia, in this first 3 episodes, but they showed other side of the galaxy

The slow, deliberate pacing works well to establish the true main character of the show: the community of Ferrix. The small details that flesh this out as a real community are phenomenal.

Spy thriller, assassins, the grey area with citizens trying to survive which itself makes Andor so good.

You guys get it! I tweeted a concern that bloggers would see the premiere episode(s) as too slow paced. But with it being a dark, assassin type series the type Cassian or Cassa Andor is it fits the series perfectly. Really going to like Andor!!

Andor is very new making and grounded, and yes like Vanessa said it’s very political and militant. Great reaction and see you guys in future episodes.

Funny how the manager dude wants to cover up the murder of the two employees in order to avoid the Empire looking too closely into their operation, the same way Lando wanted to avoid any Imperial entanglements that might disrupt his growing business.

The first five minutes of the first episode legit felt and looked like It was from Tron Legacy or Bladerunner. I love it!

gotta remember this is not the same Andor that we are accustomed to from Rogue One. This Andor is not a cold blooded killer. This is very pre rebel version of him

5BBY is the same exact year that Star Wars rebels animated series first episode starts and a bunch of events that happened with the ghost crew.... Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker are literally 14 years old during this... I thought I recognized the date but wasn't 100% sure well I am now,, pretty easy to google search epic easter egg

We begin the first episode with cold-blooded murder, complete with an execution-style slaying. Sorta surprised. Only sorta because Rogue One showed us there was a more extreme side to Cassian.

When Cassian accidentally killed the first guard, I don't know why, but when they rolled the dude face-up, I heard Ron Burgundy in my head, exclaiming, "Brick *killed* a guy!"

Not a fan...yet. I won't give up after one slow burn intro episode. R1 is my favorite of the canon, so I must watch. I'm feeling exactly like you, Vanessa. Also, I LOVE that the children's language isn't translated. It relies on deep talent, compelling an audience with the eyes alone to translate. Very Johnny Depp in Edward Scissorhands performance, and those children have that depth, as well.

Oke, just as an edition to what fills the blanks between "A new Hope" and Order 66. I think for the last 5 years until Rogue One (which this show is also focused on), nothing fills more blanks and gives better worldbuilding than Rebels. I am very interested how they handle not contradicting Rebels with this show as it already showed quite a few developments surrounding the Rebellion (even though it definitely focused on a different part of the Rebellion compared to Andor which clearly focuses on the Military Part of the Rebellion). But Rebels has given us a Timeline and Events for: - creation of the Rebel alliance - Saw's story and rough actions - the creation and growth of the Rebel Fleet - changes in the empire (specifically what was prioritized at what point in time) - very small background concerning the creation of the Death-Star ... So yeah, there is quite a bit there already. I am so interested how Andor will expand on it and if at least a few connections to Rebels will be drawn (no cameos or anything like that just connections of events)

So looking forward to this show but...was super bored with the first 2 episodes. Not the lack of action, just didn't find the story that interesting. Yes, the third episode picked up, both in action and in story. So, I'm hopeful that it will continue to pick up.

Honestly, so far the show isn't for me. Not a fan of the overall tone and pacing personally. But that's okay. Star Wars is vast with movies and shows for everyone's tastes.

Why are you writing the same comment in other reaction channels? For someone who claims to not like this show, you somehow keep popping up in other reaction videos of said show 😂.
