We named our Son Cassian after watching rogue one.. 5 years later people finally say “Cool Star Wars name” when people hear it lol. Prior to this show my wife and I had to explain it when people would say they never heard of his name before.

The last two episodes made me not want to live in the Star Wars Galaxy. The I realise that I do live in it. This show is incredible. This show is truly a Black Mirror.

Right?! I had the same thought. Seeing the reality of the Empire's oppression has given me a whole new perspective on our heroes of the Rebellion...and how grim this era was! And great observation about the show being like Black Mirror!

Love your breakdown of the episode. It shows the daily grind of the Empire. Very dystopian. How evil can manipulate the masses under the guise of law and order. You can see this clearly when Mon Mothma is talking to the other senators. Andor is not my favorite SW show but it does have some interesting aspects. I hope the action increases. The build up to the heist took 3 or 4 episodes, too long IMO. My girlfriend has already given up on it and doesn't watch it anymore. Let's hope the action picks up. On another note, I remember telling you once to buy your new husband some suits because he didn't have any, for a reason I don't remember... lol! ... hope he has some now! Have a great day!

Yes to all of this! I really like how Andor is showing us the inner workings of the Empire. And excellent observation about the guise of law and order - we also saw that in Kenobi with the character Freck! I have a feeling that the next Andor episode will start ramping up the action leading us into the prison break/revolt/escape (?) in episode 10. And then the season finale will probably be broken up into two exciting episodes. [fingers crossed] And thanks for the recommendation for my husband.
