When B2 was mishandled by imperial lieutenant guy ( I forgot his name ) it created the moment that everyone was waiting for. Complete chaos, rebellion and the right opportunity for Cassian to save Bix What other droid was the catalyst of a movement of that magnitude, great job B2!!! I think you missed one of his functions, the ability to detect and warn people about toxic gasses, I bet that is also a part of why he looks and his ability to speak the way he does, unlike a protocol droid, might also be the reasons for his ability to "turtle" to seal away sensitive sensors from toxins it would be expected to go into unknown environments to detect for. and it makes perfect sense a scavanger like Maerva from a mining world would have as a companion.

Hi Gerald, B2emo w1as a brilliant droid, he helped the family and he ignored the people he didn't want to speak to, he was the family pet/child, he was there all through Andors life and he would tell Andor off aswell as help him, he held lots of information inside himself on the rebellion and he was there when his mother died and showed her speech, he was there to help them all and he was very loyal to his family and would never let anything bad happen to his family if he could stop it, I love the droids like B2 and C3PO and all the othe2r driods who helped there humans survive , thank you Star Wars Fanatic

I'm glad that you got to B's function in making this series undeniably Star Wars. You can take Star Wars from many different perspectives, but Star Wars always has a personable droid - this is a defining Star Wars characteristic. Even if you didn't like The Acolyte, Pip was a personable droid.

I thought it was pronounced B2-Emo, as in short for Emotion.... not b2, e, m, o which is pretty long. Thanks for the content, great stuff and keep it up. B2-Emo is definitely an interesting take on droids within starwars. I think it's an emotional support droid.

I was going by the designation rather than his name. You’re right, Emo is more fitting.

@StarWarsFanatic as on old head, I can recall the droids being credited as "Artoo" and "Threepio" as their nicknames get used on screen more often than their designations. I like to imagine they only hear their full designation ID when their human is upset, like ones mom using your middle name when you're in trouble.
