i love your Andor deep dives. Not a lightsaber to be seen, yet Andor is a great story. its a shame theres only one series to go, and i hope they do it justice. Keep it up, looking forward to more stories from the Outer Rim.

Strongly disagree, but as a Lakota I understand oppression and occupation that feels like it will never end. Rebellion does require the sacrifice of life but rebellions accept self sacrifice for the future people - someone else, not the self. Oppression sacrifices the lives of others for themself. I understand though how someone whose citizenship is based on the occupation of other peoples, might not understand this at all.

@@STARWARS_FANATIC It's a great analysis. It's uncommon for KZbinrs to invest time and writing into investigating the deep nuances to what is creator is doing with their show. You've done this quite well. Definitely sticking around for more.
@STARWARS_FANATICАй бұрын
@@marcelchenier I really appreciate that. I really want this to be a place Star Wars fans can come to and escape, like Star Wars itself.

No doubt in my mind, Andor has turned the dialup to 11, it's the StarWars I always wanted as a kid, Rogue one was superb,and Andor has taken this up to the next level ,it's a StarWars that you can feel and actually care about, it's not just entertainment, it drags you in and makes you invest your time into characters who you know have a tragic end,....but that's ok,it makes them so much more believable, I can't wait for the second series ❤😊

Luthien is a bit like beowulf, not morally or ethically perfect by all means, but takes on the necessary to destroy evil at the peril of his own life.

So many stories remain to be told. If Star Wars is to continue, new kinds of stories are needed beyond the Jedi and Sith. The aftermath of the war can lead to new story arcs. Just like the rebellion of Star Wars, the French Maquis (French resistance) during WW2 was made up of republicans, nationalists, communist, anarchists, smugglers, criminals and other groups. Once WW2 was over there was betrayal between them. The communists and others were then the target by their former allies. There was a German resistance as well. During WW2, Ho Chi Minh and other Vietnamese resistance fighters against the Japanese helped rescue and return American pilots downed by the Japanese. After the Korean war came the Vietnam war. The Mafia in the United States helped find German spies in dockyards with the Navy preventing sabotage by German spies. Those members later served time in prison. During the war for America, privateers were used by all sides.

Keep up the Amazing Andor analysis where it is quite lacking. More deep dives on the complexities of normal humans doing their jobs that have harmed others directly or indirectly by just doing their jobs.

awesome video dude. script was just a tiny bit repetitive but you nailed everything else. looking forward to more from you!

Thanks! Yeah I noticed the repetition when I was listening to it…after I posted it. I’m trying to do better with that.

don't sweat it bro. like i said you nailed everything else
@obsidian179Ай бұрын
So… I don’t want to seem like I didn’t enjoy the video - because it *was* good - but I feel like I should mention that every time you talked about some character or organization’s resilience on someone or something, I’m pretty sure you actually meant their *reliance* on them.

What's your name? Are you allegience to the Republic, to the Democracy?
@AlchemistsTableАй бұрын
Great comments, but your editor could have at least matched the scenes up to the commentary, eg. Mon Mothma's scenes to the long dialog you gave on her...or, frankly *any* of the topics you're discussing, with the visuals. Just speaking over the previous trailers is low effort.

Andor is the most overrated dhow in the history of star wars
@greenman5555Ай бұрын
Andor seems more like a WW2 French Resistance story, rather than a Star Wars story. To me, it's too Earth-centric. There are practically no non-humans.
