Andre eventually got rewarded after recovering from his injuries and finishing behind Bolt in 2016. Winning the Gold in the 200m at Tokyo with a 19.62 is such a great accomplishment. He went from underdog and nearly forgotten to Olympic champion and always remembered. Never give up on your dream💪

So the greatest of all time is congratulating the medalist you're interviewing and the one question you ask is "did you even know this guy at the start of the season?" Sorry but that's ridiculously insulting to Andre. That being said I really do love how Usain always congratulates and gives encouragement to the newer sprinters. He does it to Jobodwana too. Really shows the difference in class when Gatlin just walked on by. Bolt is really a champion in every sense of the word

It really isn't my job to teach you reading comprehension, but where did I make the statement or even allude to Bolt needing to know the names of every new "it" sprinter every country pops out at the beginning of every season? My view is that it is a dumbass question some dumbass reporter asks Bolt at least once a year. Instead of asking what Bolt thought of the race or the performance of particular athlete, or what advice does he have for the new generation of sprinters, it's always "hey, did you know this guy existed before this year?". Only an imbecile would expect any sprinter to know of every other sprinter on the planet and so my original comment stands.

The thing that convinces me is that he was actually unhappy to finish with silver in the 200 mtrs. His reaction said it all. He actually expected to beat Bolt himself(in a scenario that did not feature Bolt collapsing on the track with a rare congenital heart failure!) That's the kind of self-confidence that he has! And he's so young, he's meant for great things!
