Roberto Moreno was one of the most underrated drivers I have ever seen. Great talent, showed what he could do in some occasions but never had a proper shot in a AAA team. Great video again matey.

If memory serves, Andrea Moda remains the ONLY Formula 1 team to be discharged from the sport for bringing Formula 1 into disrepute. Which qualifies as some sort of perverse achievement. I suspect NO other team has ever faced accusations that it set out intentionally to kill one of its drivers. There are strong grounds for planting a manslaughter charge on the owner at the very least. Sending McCarthy out onto the track in a car deliberately fitted with a broken steering column, would be a slam dunk in the hands of any competent prosecution lawyer. As for several of the other episodes associated with this team, when taken together, they read like a script for a crossover racing/mafia murder mystery TV series. Arson, shooting, fraud, no wonder the FIA gave this outfit the boot. As for the registration fee to compete in F1, I bet it's WAY higher than £100,000 now, and I bet the Andrea Moda affair went a long way toward such a move. Though having a solid backer with money to burn is no guarantee of success, of course. Toyota had a stab at this. One of Japan's biggest companies, a car manufacturer to boot, one that could call upon vast mountains of engineering experience, and had a virtually bottomless pit of money to call upon in this venture, failed without any impropriety involved after blowing a cool $4 billion. It takes a special level of dedication to fail from that baseline. :D

Yeah, Andrea Moda was really bad. I mean REALLY bad. But: Not the worst. Because they DID qualify the car for one race! No Idea how Moreno did this, but it happend. So in fact it was a real racing car after all. But take the 1990 Life Team against it. And it beat it by far.
