I am so glad you made this video talking about the oil sucker primer and the one size foundation. I've been on the fence about those products for a bit now. I have oily skin - and have just learned to powder throughout the day and it is totally manageable as long as I don't use any dewy products. Anyways, the way you described the primer makes me hesitate even more, which is a good thing for me. :) 34 bucks is a lot for a product that I cannot easily return as there are no stand alone sephoras within 30 miles of me.
@AndreaMatillanoАй бұрын
Ahhh it’s so tough when it comes to not being able to return a higher end purchase if it doesn’t work out! I honestly don’t see myself reaching for it again until maybe the middle of next summer. It’s so intense that I imagine it would be useful on a super hot day but a little too much for day to day!

I love the colours and the shimmer versions of the fenty blush, I prefer power to cream products and am glad they released powder blushes. The lip liners are by far my favourite recent release from them. I saw that ELF is releasing glitter shadows to dupe the urban decay and too faced ones, so I will definitely be getting those over the high end ones

If you had to choose, which foundation would you prefer, the new Urban Decay or the Huda one? I have normal skin that can get a little oily on and around my nose. Thanks for sharing your opinions on all of these products! 💕
@AndreaMatillanoАй бұрын
I would definitely say Huda! I really like the Urban Decay foundation but I would say the Huda more practical because you can sheer it out if you want lighter coverage, but build it up really easily. It definitely has more of a smooth finish too which is nice if you deal with any texture or even slight dryness!
@idalarsson4729Ай бұрын
@@AndreaMatillano Thank you so much for the answer. I’ll go with the Huda! 💕

I agree, there has to be a reasonable standard if theyre going to take your money, but there no comparison of $10 to $100+ high end expensive products Have To Deliver what they promise...if they fail, why are we paying x10 the price??? Aren't we paying for it to be tested and made to top standards!!??

I need to buy a née foundation for my daughter’s dance competition season. She’s 14, gets the occasional breakout and has a few dry patches (major combo skin). Would you suggest the Huda foundation and primer? How did you fair for you over the summer with 100% humidity and sweat?
@AndreaMatillanoАй бұрын
I might recommend the Catrice HD liquid foundation over Huda! You can get it on Amazon and it’s pretty affordable. It’s even more long-wearing with slightly higher coverage. If you prep with a good moisturizer or hydrating primer, it will wear really well on her combo skin and last super well during her competitions!
@genalederhandler3117Ай бұрын
@@AndreaMatillano Thank you! Since it’s not readily available I generally forget about Catrice. I’ll look into it ASAP. 😊

How would you compare the primer with smashbox photo finish?
@MariErinxx003Ай бұрын
The one size foundation sounds right up my alley lol (like estee lauder double wear). I need a transfer proof full-coverage, matte foundation lol. I am so oily haha; and i never touch up my makeup. I also touch my face a lot so it sounds good for me. My only concern is the gripping primer.. but i heard from someone else it works with one so hopefully if i give it two minutes it will blend ok haha
@ssabino16Ай бұрын
I have the oil sucker One Size primer, as I do have oily AF skin. It pills with a lot of other products I use, so it was def a process of trial & error. I’m still testing it out, but I haven’t noticed the “tight” feeling you described. I guess we’ll see…
@Patti-1962Ай бұрын
I wonder if there is a semi close dupe for the Huda Beauty foundation? Since you try so many, I you might have a suggestion?
@AndreaMatillanoАй бұрын
Honestly, I would say the Catrice HD foundation probably comes the closest. It leans a little bit more with slightly higher coverage, but it’s also very smoothing and Long wearing!

So what’s the difference between the I need a warm and the golden palette? I want one of them but I don’t know which. Packaging the golden palette is calling me! I never liked the overly warm palettes in 2016 but now I know I have golden undertones so I think I could embrace them! I really loving coffee shop by juvias place and abh soft glam. Do you know why Sephora doesn’t have the blushes on there website or the tower 28 minis?

Is the Huda primer comparable to the Hourglass Vanishing primer? I hope so because it's a lot cheaper!
@AndreaMatillanoАй бұрын
They are definitely different textures! The Hourglass one feels very thin and the Huda one feels a lot thicker in comparison. I would say they do give a similar effect on the skin even though they feel different! Even though Huda feels thicker as you apply it, it doesn’t feel heavy once it’s blending in though which is nice.

@@AndreaMatillanoI tried the Huda Primer in store and it appeared to me similar to the Wet N Wild Impossible primer? No silicone, but that thick, silicone-y texture? What are your thoughts?

I made the mistake of using too much and putting it on my normal areas and it made those areas look very dry.
