Closest I ever knew to this was one guy I was friends with. He was contentedly straight and then wound up with this fairly large set of bi male friends. His philosophy toward sex was already one of friendly sharing with others instead of needing it to be in a one-on-one romantic relationship. The fact he couldn't do this with his friends irked him. So he worked through the mental blockages and baggage he found in the way of his attraction for other men. He never had to. He wanted to. Now, he might've had a basis to build from on that but he truly insisted he never wanted to fuck men before that point in his life. I'll take his word for it. I'm not a mind-reader.
