I feel like once you master the apex/cuticle area , everything else will blend perfectly. I use to struggle so bad with putting beads near cuticles bc it would run on either side of ridges. But I realized I was working too runny.. now i like my beads MED wet and it works every time.

Thank you for sharing this post, I can never get the right consistency of monomer to acrylic powder ratio right. I resorted to polygel to get the longer play time with the product. I will have to practice more. Maybe trying smaller beads & not using a too dry bead will be the answer, I just won't have to make the bead too wet. I'm determined to get the right consistency. I'll try with my practice nails until I get it right. I'll keep playing this video over & over until it all works out.thanks again. ☺️💖💅

I’m new but do you need to add a clear powder after you add the color powder and before you file down the color acrylic?
@AndreaTejeda4 жыл бұрын
Jean Carter You would apply a thin layer of acrylic on your nails before you add colored acrylics to prevent staining. After applying the color you would encapsulate it and build your structure with the clear acrylic. These steps are not necessary if you’re only using cover acrylics

@AndreaTejeda4 жыл бұрын
Sarah Ellalee I can’t really tell you which one is better since I’ve only used polygel like twice. But the lifting could be due to not prepping the nail correctly or not sealing the cuticle area during finish filing

Pretty! Could you give tips on doing your dominant hand? Also, how long did it take you to learn this?
@AndreaTejeda4 жыл бұрын
sara 15 I honestly still struggle quite a bit when doing my dominant hand. The only good tips I have is to work with smaller beads of acrylic and then when you file do all the moving with your dominant hand. Like just hold the file with your non dominant hand and move your dominant hand back and forth. Hope that made sense lol. This was actually my first attempt at doing the 3 ball method but I’ve been doing my nails for nearly 2 years
