Cool setup, isn't the Macbook blocking the speaker on the right? I don't think you can get an accurate sound reference from the speakers when the MacBook is been a sound shield right in front of it. get a longer thunderbolt cable and put the MacBook on top of the Alex drawer

you don't need an XLR to TRS 1/4" adapter for your speakers, you can just use 1/4" cable (balanced or unbalanced). the port is a combo XLR slash 1/4" port!

Thanks for all your content Andres! You ended up moving your Alex drawer units outside the ends of your Ikea tabletop. Are you still a fan of putting your stand up desk legs inward to allow the Ikea Alex drawer unit to fit regardless? I went with a thicker tabletop (Karlby) at 1.5 inch thickness and was potentially going to put my 50lb pc on the end of the 74" length countertop. Have you found any sagging issues with this current or past Ikea countertop builds with those legs inward when heavier items are distributed on the ends?
