This episode reminded me of early Hot Ones in the best way. Don’t get me wrong, it’s been awesome to see this show reach the mainstream and land some of the world’s biggest celebrities, but it’s dope to have a KZbinr/independent content creator in the mix every once in a while too.

I think it’s important to remember that this is a market now. He brings in tons of revenue from adverts and views. That being said he interviews celebrities and prominent figures. Real authentic human beings can also be celebrities. Genuine people are everywhere. But going from Chloe Kardashian to Andrew Callahan is awesome for diversity and increases the demographic of his channel

Agreed. With the celebrities, I feel like they have to watch what they say in order to avoid ANY controversies, but with guests like Andrew it feels really genuine and down to earth. It makes it easier to watch seeing them both just be basically chilling

This is commonly repeated talking point but the reality is there are plenty of great journalists out there that are kneecapped by their need to work for corporate media to survive. The issue is not with journalism, but the capitalist stranglehold over the news.

National parks are definitely not overrated. I’ve gone more than 24 hours on several occasions without seeing a single solitary soul in National parks while hiking all day in the most beautiful wilderness you can find. Natl parks arent supposed to be trips to rest stops on the side of the road

The legacy media discussion was so on point for this episode. Both Sean and Andrew are TITANS of the new wave and they just get it. They understand how to reach people, they scratch the content itch, they present things as they are and avoid sensationalism like the plague. What this kid does for journalism is unparalleled in today's world of media and news outlets. In my honest opinion, he's shaping to become one of the best journalists alive. If some of you have not yet seen anything from All Gas No Brakes or Channel 5, I highly recommend you do. This guy deserves all the good things that come his way because what he contributes to society is literally priceless. What a joy to see him on this show, best crossover I never thought I needed.

That lot lizard story is incredibly underrated. All too often viewers and listeners expect a harrowing story of danger and debauchery. That story speaks about the goodness in humanity as a whole. Which is what Andrew seems to want to show the world. Respect.

From the get go, Was a big fan of All Gas no Brakes in its entirety. I really gained a ton more respect for Andrew when he came to Portland, Oregon in the midst of all of the protests involving BLM and that stuff. He went into Portland and gave us all real reporting and true non narrative driven interviews with real people. Really opened my eyes to how predatory big media is. This guy is the real deal. Great interview !

Love that he mentioned Louis Theroux. Got that vibe from the beginning. Putting people at ease and encouraging them to speak their mind isn't easy, but Louis and Andrew are both very good at it.
