I'm glad he wasn't hung up on the whole "if you didn't want fat me, you will never have fit me." No one wants their partner to be *that* obese...unless you fetishize it, ofc
@cosodesign89536 жыл бұрын
Giggles Bloody Murder I don’t agree. I dated someone fairly obese. I don’t fetishize obese people or anything like that I just really loved him as a person. At the time I was hella skinny and we deff looked like an odd couple but he had such a wonderful personality, was super smart and super funny. After dating him I realized how shallow I used to be and how shallow others are. So yeah I totally feel like if you’re not willing to take someone at their heaviest then you sure as hell don’t deserve them at their fittest. People are essentially the same heavy or smol. If you only appreciate them once they satisfy that lust in you...well I’m of the opinion you’re doing love wrong.
@alixgiggles53296 жыл бұрын
CoSo Design It's not about lust as much as common sense. Why would I want to settle down and make a life with someone who is at high risk of not being around very long? It's simple human nature, coinciding with mental, financial, and emotional health. I wouldn't want to intentionally put my kids at risk of not having a father. Nothing vain or superficial about it.
@cosodesign89536 жыл бұрын
Giggles Bloody Murder while I agree to that logic...you hardly went that far in your original comment. I still stand by what I said. Love isn’t always riddled with common sense. And with any person you’re with you make sacrifices. I highly doubt though that most of what keeps someone with an obese person is their mortality rate. When most people won’t even give an obese person the time of day. It is superficial because humans straight off the bat are superficial and see looks before personality. That’s human nature. Thoughts like “will this person live long enough to see our grandkids” come later not upon meeting someone. It took me awhile in my relationship to start having those thoughts because I didn’t immediately know if I wanted to be with that person forever. Back to my point about making sacrifices for the partner you’re with. Some people marry soldiers. Some people marry people with terminal diseases. Some people marry people like me with Crohn’s disease. People marry others who don’t have 100 guarantee on a long life. Because they love them. No one you marry is guaranteed to stay alive long enough for you and your children. However it is your choice to pick someone who has a higher chance at living longer.
@cosodesign89536 жыл бұрын
And back to the original point. Regardless of common sense or being superficial. No one deserves to be with someone they gave no time to who was once obese but is now fit. It’s incredibly disrespectful. If you didn’t believe in them to get better or support them during their down stages then you don’t get to capitalize on their successes. I don’t think you’re worthy of being with that person. Fair and square. So in regards to the original comment...I think he’d have every right to feel that way if he chose to.
@alixgiggles53296 жыл бұрын
CoSo Design Well, not all opinions need their reasonings presented upfront. You, simply, assumed I was a shallow commentator and felt the need to defend the obese. You should have inquired prior to your assumption. I am not saying you could never love an obese person. We live in a very visual society but you can't help who you love. That much I agree with. But back to my original comment, you would not *ideally* want your partner to be obese. It certainly can cause some questioning and resistance as far as entering a relationship with the individual.

The best scars for this surgery I’ve ever seen. Most plastic surgeons just make huge swaths around the hips and right down the center of the abs. Looks great with clothes but not so much naked. Yours looks good both ways.
@nickname29357 ай бұрын
The surgeon did a great job, but the guy also just doesn't grow massive scars. Just look at the chest scars. Those are huge incisions and they don't really sit in the most aesthetic place, but with him they are barely visible. For some people they stretch, for some they darken, for some they become bumpy...dude has incredible genetics for healing.
