He went behind her back and was talking to other women while she was IN SURGERY and then tried to cover it up as him trying to "spread God's word and love" that is complete bull crap if you ask me. That and he was on dating websites and sending inappropriate and explicit pictures to other females. And his excuse for cheating? Because a man has sexual needs and Lupe being severely overweight couldn't satisfy those needs he had. So he completely deserved everything he got. Lupe could have EASiLY just have left his ass, but she obviously loves and completely adores Gilbert for whatever reason that may be, we don't know their history, and we don't know their lives. We only see what TLC wants us to see of their lives. So we don't know what happens when the cameras shut off and the doors are closed. Hopefully he has learned to respect and appreciate Lupe more and hopefully their relationship has gotten better since we've all last seen. I have the most respect for Lupe for doing exactly what she was supposed to be doing. Dieting and exercising correctly, and taking her weight loss seriously. I hope we get an update soon!

Exactly! Why do we see old people still married and very much in love when all looks fade away and the intimacy no more. Because as they get older their love grows with time. Other wise it's conditional love. As we get older and we get use to someone we have eyes to see someone younger, hotter,, attractive, etc, but real love is not an emotion it's a decision. Love is an action.. Kind of like God's love.
