I started watching very enthusiastically. However, it would have been useful if you had first mentioned which system and conventions you were using. It appears you are using Acol. We in the US normally play SAYC therefore i did not continue watching lest it confuses me.

I would have led J clubs. Leading under QT xx not too good and partner has perhaps lots of clubs. A gamble but worth taking.I have seen singletons led at no trumps by experienced players who don't stick to fourth highest.
