I think Andrew Scott genuinely could play _any_ character - hero, villain, horrible person, romantic lead, you name it. So long as that character happens to be beautiful and with an endearing Irish lilt.

It took me a minute to realize how profound Seth’s statement was: “I expected this beautiful romance and I got that…” It wasn’t so long ago that this sentiment would have been replaced by the same questions and concerns that plagued Brokeback Mountain. What a wonderful comment from Seth.

I saw All of Us Strangers yesterday. I cannot stop thinking about it. I was so immersed in this masterful work, that whenthe credits rolled at the end , only then did I realize that these 4 glorious actors were the entire cast. Nothing or no one else was needed. Please see this heartbrakingly beautiful film.

Edit: I am certainly biased as an Irishman but to have an Irish protagonist or two even, is not something I take for granted and inspires massive pride in me.

I’ve never had to hold back tears harder in the cinema than when seeing this movie. It just hit so close to home with all the different themes. And then Andrew Scott came out for a quick q&a afterwards and he was just so warm and witty

I have come to the conclusion after watching this film last night that the Oscars are just absolutely worthless. I've heard so many stories of members not even bothering to watch a good chunk of the movies and Scott's performance is leaps and bounds ahead of every performer in 2023. Would go as far to say that its one of the most rich, human and beautiful performances of the last decade that will stay with me for a long time.

I saw this movie a day before my fathers 1 year death anniversary and when I tell you, I was gripping my seat for dear life to not full on ugly cry. The entire theater you could near sniffles/contained sobs. This is a movie that will always stay with me and help me process my own emotions when it comes to dealing with loss and love.

What a wonderful actor and a delightful regular person in real time. You must see him in the film”This Beautiful Fantastic”. It is a genuinely sweet film that never fails to charm me. Andrew plays this well grounded man in the middle of a sort of odd situation. Watch it! You will not fail to be charmed.

The fact that this glorious man didn't get nominated for the big awards for "All of Us Strangers" - a beautiful, dreamy, surreal, poetic film so eloquently acted with sensitivity and mind bending heft - is so unfortunate.
