One of my all time favourites ... he single handedly smashed the aussies a few years back .... I hope he is doing well 🙏

Bakkies Botha is tough as nails, but he didn’t want to go face to face with Andy... both enforcers! Love it!!!

@Yeah Whatever yep Bakkies just a Bully and a nasty one at that

Andy Titterell, 5'9" but Sales best lineout forward, because he was so light Sheridan could throw him 10 feet up in the air.

I recall a England v Australia test at Twickers where he absolutely capsized their scrum every single time, his power was awesome.

His debut, it was immense.

Tis visd shows him pushing Tendai Mtawira backwards! You didn't see that too often either!

Bonne retraite!

Daft for even Bakkies to start something with Sheridan especially with Munster man O'Connell keeping his back!

Bench pressing 225kg isn’t bad. Bakkis not used to someone facing him off. Would have been interesting if they went at it. I’d back Big Ted.

Not really... Botha was just a cheap shot mastero. I think Eben Eztebeth would be a better Match.

Julian White floored him with one shot.... White is the toughest and strongest prop to play for England... fact
@thewomble15095 жыл бұрын
White had a nastiness that Sheridan didn't and was a truly hard man but statistically, Sheridan is the strongest by a country mile.
@thewomble15095 жыл бұрын
@WhatSideOfTheBed DidYouWakeUpOn I never said otherwise did I? Why can't people take comments at face value? White was a real hard man and a great technician. Big Ted was as strong as a bull and he could play a bit too. Woodman was excellent too . I think we all agree that over the last twenty years ,England have had some great props.

@@thewomble1509 Totally agree with you here mate.The fact that Sheridan was a second row and actually toured with England,in South Africa as one.Was smashing holes in open play aswell ,out there.Then changed to prop at Bristol whilst a professional player.Unheared of really.Yes people make that sort of change from school or maybe 18's but whilst in their payed career.From lock to prop outsanding and wrongly overlooked.The other great props mentioned had years on Sheridan,unfair comparisons really. In this Sheridan was a one off.
@thewomble15094 жыл бұрын
@@carlito571 Yes, i can remember reading about Sheri at Bristol.they were raving about him, similiar to the way Dombrandt is viewed now. I think they also played him as a lock but he was a bit too short and too hefty ( he was around 20 stone then). One of the coaching staff suggested propping and he found his true calling.
@agnostic473 жыл бұрын
@@carlito571 He started out as a No 8. I remember a friend of mine saying "watch this guy, he's going to be a great prop". I said "get out of here, he's 6'5".

Carl Hayman turned him inside out, bench pressing will never beat technique n natural strength

I couldn’t find that video

Well Haymen said during an interview which you can find on You Tube that Sheridan was the hardest strongest prop he ever faced so I somehow doubt that !!
