It was much easier to get away with it back then because of signals being analog also I think the statue of limitation for hijacking a broadcast is around seven years or at least back then it was so in the 90s everyone involved with it could have revealed that they did it and they couldn't be arrested the only thing that probably would have happened is being sued by the two stations they hijacked and while I do wish they would reveal themselves at the same time them keeping the mystery alive for so long is why it's the most famous broadcast hijack of all time

ULTIMATENINJA1984 Either way, what's the harm in pretending that it is him? It actually COULD be him, and if not, it's a very clever commenter who deserves to have a little fun. I like to cling to the possibility that I am talking to the actual legend at work here, no matter how remote the chances.
