Many years ago, there was a comedian called Hoffnung. He worked maunly on the radio, and despite being in his late twenties, he looked about 40 years older. He would amuse himself by catching a bus, taking ages to pay his fare, and then dodder to his seat. A few stops later, he would disembark even more slowly, affecting great difficulty in rising from his seat. Most times, at least ine passenger would help him off the bus. Then, as the bus pulled away, Hoffnung would run alongside it with ease and grace, while the passengers stared at him in astonishment.
