Thanks for the great lesson! Yes, I would be so interested in a muting video. No one ever spends anytime on that in other videos. I’ll watch.

Just found your channel! Thank you for sharing your knowledge! Any thoughts on showing some double stops that are available in each pentatonic shape? Not sure this is a good idea or not it’s just what I’m spending my Sunday morning searching for😂

There are double stops literally everywhere! I'll try to come up with another lesson that covers more and isn't too overwhelming :)

A muting lesson would help me a lot, I would love to learn rakes, and to hit single notes while strumming

I absolutely would be interested in a muting lesson. Just yesterday my teenager asked me how to reliably mute a string between 2 other strings. I showed her what I do, but there are probably better ways of doing it....

I have seen 10 guitar guys online teach talk and say double stop and never explain it...ever. Ya he reads comments
@andrewclarkeguitar Жыл бұрын
I think the name "double stop" is kind of confusing honestly. Especially, when all it means is playing two notes at once 😅 Thanks for watching!

The hard one is to mute lower strings with the right hand playing blues.

Can't just show people the entire fretboard and then tell them they can play any of those notes?
@andrewclarkeguitar4 ай бұрын
Like all the diatonic notes within a key across the whole fretboard?
@AnnoyingCritic-is7rp4 ай бұрын
@@andrewclarkeguitar Sorry, yeah I mean the full pentatonic scale across the fret board
@andrewclarkeguitar4 ай бұрын
@@AnnoyingCritic-is7rp Learning all 5 repeating positions of the pentatonic scale is important, but can be overwhelming for most. I find it more effective to learn connections piece by piece. I have many videos that show how to connect all these shapes on my channel.
