I just found your channel. Just in time because I wanted to start making a Halo spartan cosplay. Sadly I'm looking for more of a Halo Reach armor look, but I'm still watching your videos. I've learned so much and will definitely be using eva foam for my build. I am tempted to pick up your pdf file to try this for a first attempt.

As always a well laid out and clearly explained tutorial, well done. When i can finally afford/get around to doing my own ODST costume these are the videos i will use. 10/10

Hi Andrew! I watched a lot of your videos a few years ago but I never did anything about it. You showed up in my recommended again because of Halo Infinite and I found this. I have a question for you. Have you ever, and would you recommend applying fiberglass over this suit to make it more durable and shaped? I think that would give it a really cool effect but I've never done anything like this and I'd like to get an expert opinion.

What is the best thickness of EVA foam to use for armor like this?
@jamesrussell15995 жыл бұрын
John Odland 1.1-1.3 mm for the base/ larger pieces than where will be pieces you will half and if you want you can get sheets of 2 mm for extra details

This is amazing and I want to make this...but one question...how do I make a chest peice for a girl? XD
@PugnaciousProductions5 жыл бұрын
TheGoldCat123 Well, you would just make room for it, make it curve a bit to get around the problem of the breasts, depending how big they are.
@CaptainMaverick-rx9ok4 жыл бұрын
Did you actually make it? How expensive and hard was it?
@npc68173 жыл бұрын
No need to do any alterations, unless you have a very large breast size it will just cover them fine, chest armor is usually unisex. If you're actually trying to get that boob armor effect rather than being worried about a good fit then you should modify the chestplate instead, just bend it over your knee to give it a rounder shape and maybe add some foam spacers on the underside so that it won't sit as flush with the base chest armor.
