@Sean-Ax2 күн бұрын
@@bradseeker Off the top of my head, impressionist composers like Debussy. I'm not well versed in all of that, but I know that that was an inspiration for that soundtrack. It may not be exactly-exactly like BotW, but it's a lead.
@integtranquilКүн бұрын
@@bradseeker You might want to give a listen to The Köln Concert by Keith Jarett. It's more busy than the botw ost but I think you'll like it. Going down the minimalist music route there's also Steve Reich's Music for 18 Musicians which is again different, but the Underground and to a lesser extent fight music remind me of it. Hope this helps :)

the best thing you guys have made in a long time. the only problem is that it doesn't sound like a complete song, rather like a (Part I) of a 15-20 min jazzy prog epic. those drums aren't an outro, they're the transition to the fast-paced rhytm-focused part 2 of 5.

I'm glad you went with vocal sounds without words. tbh there's been quite a few songs where you've made the music and it gives me a feeling then when you add lyrics it's like you've overwritten what the feeling was with how i'm told to feel. There's also just the trickiness that earlier on I'll see a different potential than you'll see, inevitably different. This was one of my favorites.

Love the new house band lore. My theory is that house band Rob is also ancient, and when he says the early 90s he means the EARLY 90s. These two were already in this spot in space; House Rob initially floating in the cosmic Guitar Center (the energy center from which all guitar music originates) before moving out to the Drum Center when House Andrew moved in. At some point, the studio was built around them.

How about using the song generator twice : once at the beginning to start making a song with, then a second time after 45 minutes for example to make the rest of the song with ? Could even be wilder by leaving holes to fill with the second theme, say you play the end of a solo with the first theme then you try to complete it and make it coherent somehow.
