My woke lodger discovered that words do indeed have consequences, when she shouted at me for wearing a t shirt with the slogan "I stand with J.K.Rowling", and I promptly evicted her. Later edit: I'd like to add two things:- (i) My profound thanks for all the kind messages and upvotes (1k at the time of writing), which reinforce my hope that the tide is finally turning against the racist, misogynistic, and sadistically paedophiliac insanity of woke. (ii) This episode happened three weeks after my father's death. He was 82 and had been suffering from Alzheimers for several years, so his passing was a relief for him. All the same, I really didn't need to be dealing with my lodger's delusional rage at this time. It was a relief to see the back of her.

He was declared "homophobic." Most of his business was online and they turned him into a pariah. They boycotted his yarn store. They pressured pattern sellers and yarn suppliers to shun him and not do business with him. He was GAY. He had lived for a decade with his GAY partner. But he was "homophobic" because he put green yarn instead of rainbow yarn for "pride" month. How's that for kindness?
