ce que j'ai aimé c'est la touche de l'artiste, ces ajouts réglage pour rendre l'avion plus performante, bravo. I'm waiting for the flight video.

I like bangood and their planes. Whenever I buy a new one, I look for your video(s) about them on KZbin. Your build videos are useful for warning about "gotchas" and your flight videos help to tune the plane to fly as good as possible. Your videos are great quality too. Especially considering that you do everything yourself. Your content is so good, I wish that you had a small camera crew. Keep up the great work Andrew, we really appreciate you!
@AndrewNewton5 жыл бұрын
Thanks Matthew. I'm happier and more spontaneous doing it all myself. Don't think I could perform with a camera crew.

It is a nice one, but pretty fast. Mine ended up with a crash last time (FY41ap lite failure), but is still in one piece. Just some cracks. Anyway, with the Storm OSD it was a real pleasure. Happy maiden and enjoy it!

I prefer using quick cure wood lime for fixing plywood bits - becomes transparent and penetrates wood. Also not brittle after curing.

Thanks for sharing Andrew, good tips the lock nut for the push rod, it's important! It's really great plane this MT!

It's a useless connector the way it comes.

I had the full size Talon but it was a handful. It tip stalled made a loud bang unto the ground and all that survived were the wings. Is this smaller one more stable?
@AndrewNewton2 жыл бұрын
Very stable unless you load it up too much

Hi , Can you provide the positions of the V-Tail ruddervator for the stabilized flight mode. Also in stabilized mode , what is the position of the left and right V-Tail when we do a right yaw.....thank you in advance
@AndrewNewton3 жыл бұрын
I don't have a FC on this one. Just think of the VTail as two vertical rudders to work out direction of movement.

@ 4:28 you talk about the Nylon Lock nut for the supplied linkage adjusters - what size nut is that? Would you have a link?

Thanks so much for this video. Just putting together my Mini Talon now - the included instructions are not so great - this video is brilliant and has helped a lot. I am interested to know why you are using so many different types of glue - what is your thinking here? Keen to understand! Thanks again.
@AndrewNewton3 жыл бұрын
Use the glue that suits the material and application. Epoxy and CA for timber, hot glue and contact cement for foam.

Hi can you please post some details of the flight control that you quickly showed as at the moment I'm having problems setting a naze32 to stabilize an airplane and could happily replace it .

Start with cg at 55mm (later go as far as 60mm) You dont have to glue the wings! They have a screw you tighten to hold the wings (allen key included) Look out for the esc temperatures. Here is Marks great builds: www.itsqv.com/QVM/index.php?title=X-UAV_Mini_Talon_Build_Number_1 (he has 4) anf he designed a lot of high quality 3d printed parts for it: www.itsqv.com/QVM/index.php?title=Mini_Talon_Parts_Compilation
@AndrewNewton7 жыл бұрын
Thanks Marcin, I wasn't aware of the wing screws! Will have to look closer. My CG is about 75mm
@kabturek7 жыл бұрын
no no no dont even try flying at 75mm! its an error in the manual! Read this: www.itsqv.com/QVM/index.php?title=How_To_-_Hand_Launch_an_X-UAV_Mini_Talon
@kabturek7 жыл бұрын
"Starting sometime in 2016, X-UAV started sending a build sheet with the kits showing the CoG at 76mm. This is completely incorrect and X-UAV has confirmed it is an error on their part and they will "correct soon" (February 2017). Earlier Mini Talon build sheets as well as the earlier planes which came with CoG decals clearly show the CoG at either 55mm or 60mm from the leading edge at the wing root. My original MT had decals at 60mm and #2 had decals at 55mm."

It's a nice plane. Has so much space inside. Anyone who used it - Skywalker 1680 or Mini Talon?
@seafax7 жыл бұрын
When skywalkers were new (the original 1680mm wingspan maybe 4 or 5 years ago) they were the best fpv airframes around. I had two but recently got a mini talon and I have to say that it outperforms my old skywalkers in every respect.
@alltheflyingthings10757 жыл бұрын
I've seen only one skywalker on hobbyking, didn't know there are any newer. So you're saying mini talon is better. And it's even easier to transport, I think.
@FPVSteve7 жыл бұрын
I have both - Skywalker is better if you want a plane for slow-flying and looking around, Mini Talon is far superior for a faster, more nimble flight.... I usually take the Mini Talon out as it's easier to transport.

At that weight the smaller motor and slower flight speed might be possible

Even though it is just 3 years old I like the build and purchased one due to cheap offer for europeans cause they are shipping from the UK. After Brexit they will loose all these sales if they do not open a mainland EU warehouse that is for sure cause I will not buy anything from the UK if I have to deal with customs. And the customs here are already warning that every shipping from the UK will take the same road as north korean or american or russian ones from january first 2021. They are running out of time - but at least this order is bringing money to the UK ... and I guess the UK does not realize how they will be hurt cause Hobbyking UK warehouse is useless for just 60 something million british citizen compared to 600 Million in the EU ! That will hurt the whole UK RC community cause I guess banggood and hobbyking will have to shutdown their british operations in favor of one mainland european warehouse cause a warehouse for UK only demand will be a lot, lot tinier than the current ones that serve the whole EU. I will stop ordering from the UK on december first to be on the safe side in case of delays cause the customs will take 19% VAT and maybe additional fees.

Yes, it flies pretty quick on very few amps if you keep it clean....Comes in fast....You need the CG on the servo wires where they enter the Fuz sides....Make sure you get it right and mark the Lipo Bay. Pleased you used the Laser cut Ply for the centre crutch, no idea why some folk have substituted 3D printed plastic ones....Complete mystery....Perfect model for iNAV....and an Omnibus F4 with built in OSD. Super lightweight Autopilot, and super cheap. Mines got iNAV in it now, gave the APM the sack....lol.
