I did the dowel method on my first two boards but stopped. Now I do 2" to 4" on a scribe like the Pintail marking. For surfboards I do the scribe at 1, 1/8", bottom to deck, It saves me so much time. I already shaped the PU blank making my first asymmetrical surfboard. It'll be a 6',9" on the toe side (shortboard template) and 6',5" on the heel making it a funshape. 🌊🌊

I usually trace outlines on the deck because the deck rocker is flatter. Wouldn't it be awesome if it was possible to actually work at KZbin video warp speed, especially sanding! that would definitely cut down the 6 hours actual time! nice work!
