Pixel 8 pro with QPR beta 3 that I got 2 days ago! Battery life definitely received a boost! Performance is definitely better as well! Heat management improved! Even though these phones never overheated, definitely get a little warm but I'm seeing an improvement in that area 👍🏾! Even wireless charging while in a car has improved, the heat is significantly less. That one is much appreciated! And it also seems as if the bugs have been swatted away. For me the last QPR build was total hell this one is like being ascended into heaven! Last little tidbit if you are having an issue where when you unlock with the fingerprint scanner and your notification panel comes down 👎🏾! Turn off touch to wake. I think that setting is the issue, then enable three button navigation essentially turning off gesture navigation, then immediately turn on gesture navigation again. Once those two steps have been completed restart the phone........... YOU'RE WELCOME!

The app closing animation looks better than ever

Yeah I can confirm the animations got improved from Beta 2 actually, gestures are much more faster and bouncier when opening closing apps. Only few things were the status bar icon not being aligned has finally been fixed with beta 3 and also launching apps from lock screen not allowing us to swipe up back to the lockscreen also fixed. Only thing it needs fixing is the stutter on the bottom Google search widget when you quickly swipe in and out of apps, that bottom portion will glitch like insane.

Not sure if you have this I have a severe Bluetooth issue I believe is in software regarding to Bluetooth range intermittently it completely bugs out and my range goes down to about 5 to 10 ft The only way to fix it is to restart it they still have not fixed this in Android 15

There are major beta cycles which takes you from one version to the other e.g. from Android 14 to Android 15 but there are smaller beta cycles 3 months each, by the end of each cycle we get what Google calls a feature drop, it includes a set of new features every 3 months

OT but best quality of life option imo: Go in the Developer's option ( Google how to unlock it ), scroll down to Window Animation Scale, Transition Animation Scale and Animation Duration Scale. Select .5X instead of 1X.

With a systemUI tweaks software or just a supported custom ROM, you can go between 1 and .5 I'm at 0.95x scale on evolution X. Slightly quicker than 1, but still smooth as I prefer my UI. .5 is too extreme in my opinion.
