muscle tower is a good arc, alot of people dont enjoy the funny bits of original Dragon ball even tho its a comedy adventure anime. dragon ball likes to be funny and enjoy the adventure across the world and then dragon ball z is much more action focused where everything is more about the plot and big fights

idk how ppl don’t enjoy this part. the pilaf arc at the beginning is my favorite part of the entire dragon ball franchise (db, z, gt, super), but i love all of og dragon ball except for the very last saga. that’s when dragon ball turns into dragon ball z.

Eighter(Android 8) destroying the rest of Muscle Tower does give off some "Super Mario World" Vibes for every time Mario would destroy what remained of any of the castles that the Koopalings(Bowsers nephews and niece) each resided in. The gun General White use is a super-magnum which is a very power gun. Not ordinary gun. It is stated in the original manga. That's why Goku get hurt after getting shot in the back of the head.

All DB episodes are great. When we were kids we saw each ep. And we loved them ALL. Dont listen to fuzzers and just enjoy. This stories are where Goku began his legend.

This arc is not slow pasted at all in my Opinion. Every Arc of Dragonball Z has slower paste than this in my Opinion.

@@professordavidx6505 That's because Dragon Ball arcs didn't suffer from elongation of the episodes and fillers, a thing came with Dragon Ball Z era for it's arcs. It was a way to save time on the publication of the manga and not to catch up with it. In the original manga depictions of those arcs whatever it is DB's or DBZ's, they don't suffer from those comparisons since Dragon Ball is a manga that's is reading preety easily and smoothly with arcs being shorter than their anime adaptation counter part.

I love watching all dragon ball episodes, the same way I enjoyed watching naruto. I would dare to say this even more cus we only have one life and there is only one first time watching dragon ball to its fullest

This arc has only just begun. Also, Dragon Ball does not really have filler episodes. All episodes tie into the story somehow, some might be more exciting than others, but for a first watch through i believe all should be viewed.

They mirged filler with cannon so the episodes have additional scenes not in the manga. Which is better than filler episodes.

Andrew was needed on this adventure . without Andrew Goku would not be able to escape the maze , Goku would be frozen in the fight against Buyon and also Goku would had been killed by General White last shot .

I love og dragonballs music sooo much. also once you finish this season you might like the movie "Path to Power". Its a high quality film remake of the first 2 seasons of dragonball, its also made by the company that made dragonball gt. its super well animated. dont watch it tho until the end of this season tho. highly recommend. Also ur gorgeous btw

For Androids that's technically not what they all are. The main dub calls them that, but the term more properly translates to something like Artificial Human in other translations, which encompasses all of what Gero's creations are. Most have machinery making up parts of them, but many of them are Cyborgs as opposed to fully robotic, with some even being made out of normal people that Gero abducted. Number 8 acts kind simply cause that's how he turned out. He's a failure of Gero's creations in that regard.

I've seen a lot of people not liking this arc, I also have my problems with it. I agree with your sentiment, just want to relay that the common criticism I see is pacing issues and feeling like there isn't a solid focus until towards the end besides getting the 4 star ball, a low stakes goal to everyone including Goku, since its purely sentimental and his life would go on as usual if he failed and didn't have it as a keepsake. I like the majority of the red ribbon arc, but I do feel the show dragging during muscle tower in particular. Don't wanna spoil in the comments, but my favorite parts of the arc are all after this section of it. Happy watching to everyone else, though! Not gonna hate on a classic

But I don't think it's even that weird when you realize that in the original anime Brock and James also shared one voice actor. She also voiced some pokemon characters like Jigglypuff, Vulpix and Chansey.
