Coming from the 595, this is an excellent upgrade for the cat hair. The new extractors prevent all that hair from getting tangled on the rollers and instead went to the ends.

My Roomba 960 rarely completes a cleaning job. I got it Christmas of 2018. It finds more ways to get a wheel stuck than I can imagine. On the original battery, it ran itself down and would not return to base for a charge. I replaced the battery with a more powerful one. I cleans about 30 more minutes and then either gets stuck or runs the battery down. It has completed the job only 3 times since I have been using it. Cleaning day is every Wednesday at 9am.

*I run the m6 daily, and my floors look awesome🌼 **allabout.wiki/Roomba-960** I wet mop 2 days and dry sweep the rest of the days. When I first got it, I used the included disposable pads. I didn't like them--the dry pad has no depth so if it picks up a chunk of something, like dry cat food, then it pushes it around or drags it around the floor. The wet pad wasn't very absorbent so left streaks and wheel marks.*

Is this particularly good for not beating up your baseboards and not getting stuck on floor vents and drop-offs (at the top of stairs). My Roomba 530 isn't great when it comes to these things.

Could you tell me the difference between Roomba 960 and 971 please ? Actually in France Amazon sells both with 50 € differences (971 is more expensive). I can't find anywhere de difference between theses 2 models! Thank you!

Its helps when he compared the 960 to the 980 as its a $200 difference and its very important to know if the differences are applicable. It would be a shame if someone spent all that money on this device and found it lackluster because they needed the the 980.

I have been wanting to get a robot vacuum for a while now, I have been waiting for the technology to get better and price to come down. I like the irobot and I am almost ready to make the plunge. however Samsung have just brought out a new version powerbot R7090. please please could you try to get your hands on one to test and compare with irobot. thank you.

Get the Xiaomi. You won-t regret it and your pockets will love it too! I just got one recently and it-s been a blast. Best part of it is that you get constant OTA updates that improve your device.

I have a Roomba 880 and the rollers wear out every month, the hinge on the waste bin breaks on my second one, it will not pick up cat fur from Berber carpet and bumps into stuff all the time. I know the new one has better navigation but does it have more suction and airflow?
