its so weird but i watched someone else play this and didnt care for the game. Watched you and your explanation and now im interested. Truly phenomenal at what you do Paul.

It’s a definite contender for my game of the year, I watched this for pure entertainment and loved it. Making me want to get it to the table again.

Played my first game yesterday, watching the video now to get the rules details that i missed. As always a great video from Paul, you have a way to convey the rules that makes ir easier to understand

Finally!😅 So much hype for this game. Love the aesthetics of this game and probability will pick up the retail version this holiday season. Thanks for this play through!

What an awesome game ❤ The leit motif of the session, in a Gregory House fashion, would definitely be “Everybody explodes” 🤣

Best gameplay video of Andromeda’s Edge available - so relaxing, enjoyable and easy to watch. Fantastic work!

relaxing? Not for me - my ships kept getting blown up :)

At 55:16, Pete played a card that allowed him to activate another player's industry module, "...even if it is damaged." Not a huge deal or anything, especially since it didn't effect anything during this play, but just thought I'd point out that the designers and publisher stated that this was a typo and that it should say, "...that is undamaged."
@GamingRulesVideosАй бұрын
Interesting. So, the exact opposite of what the card says :) I missed that in the errata list I was sent.
@carmanragatzАй бұрын
@@GamingRulesVideos Yeah, I think it caught a lot of people off guard. That is, I'm assuming that is the "Industrial Espionage" card. The appendix states that the module must be undamaged and they just confirmed that the appendix is correct and the card had the wrong text printed.

13:50 you could even do a retrieve turn if there are none of your ships on the board (not like Apiary or Tzolkin where you are forced to do a put action when you can’t retrieve…) There are cards which benefit you during a retrieve, where that might be useful.
@GamingRulesVideosАй бұрын
Good to know. I wasn't aware of that.
@SaschaKleiberАй бұрын
@@GamingRulesVideos Didnt know either, as it isnt quite intuitive in my opinion. But Luke Laurie did confirm that on bgg.
@GamingRulesVideosАй бұрын
@@SaschaKleiber It is interesting. There are a lot of games which have "place a worker" or "bring workers back home", but this does it with a twist. So I guess it makes sense to "return to station" when you haven't placed anything so you get to activate all of your modules.
@nickgiannini8860Ай бұрын
To be clear, this would be a very niche move for very specific circumstances. You do not get to activate modules with ships that are still on your launch bays. They must come from the board or repair barge to activate modules.

At 1:49:35. Shouldn't Rob have put one of his ships on the commerce module to activate the tile (spend 2 credit for ship upgrade)? Excellent video as usual: even without having read the rules I could follow everything that was going on.
@RobTurner-h5zАй бұрын
Blast. I should have spent an energy to activate that module as well as the two credits. Apologies, and thanks for spotting it. One less VP for me at the end 😞
@ErcuMaglorАй бұрын
I'm sure Paul and Pete are delighted to hear that you scored 1 VP less. 😂 Good game and well played Rob!

The Cosmic Twilight Event deck (the mean deck) has a card that causes players to put developments onto their sides. All developments on their sides do not score at the end of the game and must be turned upright by using a repair action. Because these developments don't count as developments at the end of the game, they would not gain the points provided by adjacent vortexes or quasars. This is the only time I have seen where it actually does make a difference for when you score the points from quasars and vortexes.

Looks very cool, I love euro games that also have tactics and variability. Question is, does the retail version worth it?

This game really pops! am so disappointed that I missed the Kickstarter for this one, but I guess you can´t have them all. 😢

It is available from Lucky Duck Games
@stalelygrehoff2881Ай бұрын
Seeing as you played with the relic modules you should probably have used the relic moons as well.
@GamingRulesVideosАй бұрын
Probably. I was still learning the variations in the game. I had a ton of modules and was just told to "throw them all in, you'll be ok", so I did. Nobody mentioned the pink moons.
@stalelygrehoff2881Ай бұрын
@GamingRulesVideos yeah it happens. I think 3 or 4 of them have the symbol. So makes it a bit easier to pick some up.

Thanks for the playthrough.I dont know about the game. To me it looks like a Euro game where you can get completly fucked over by dice rng.
