We've only converted 2 first downs under Bryce and have been outscored 50 to 3 in the first half under Bryce. It's a big deal bc everyone said we were stupid for benching Bryce so early and that no one could win at QB with this team. Clearly, Bryce was the problem. It had been 20 games since we had scored a TD on the opening drive, and 11 games since we had held a lead longer than 10 seconds. All legitimate stats.

Andy may not take us to the Playoffs, but I'm glad he shut everyone in the media up when they were saying Bryce wasn't the problem. Bryce Young was CLEARLY the problem. As any Panthers fan who's actually watched a game since Bryce took over can tell you, the offense has been nonexistent. It was a completely different offense on the field. The oline played like it's played all year, and Recievers got open as they have all season!! It was finally fun to watch a Panthers game again!!!

Always love to see Dalton do well and will always have appreciation & love for Dalton Andy came in as a 2nd round pick and rejuvenated Bengals football his rookie year and "won alot of games" (Big Whit) for the Bengals. Andy helped Bengals get to the playoffs 5 years straight including his rookie year... back when there were only 6 playoff teams in each conference (now it's 7, since 2020). Marvin Lewis never won a playoff game with any QB in 17 yrs as a head coach because Marvin said he 'didn't believe in making adjustments' Except I hope Andy doesn't win against us next week 😂... bc Andy has won all but 1 close game when playing against the Bengals since he left... and he is always on a new team with alot of adversity so its never easy for him to win

That same history also leads to more HoFers and, generally a stronger fandom/fan culture. Panthers have 0 titles and an overall losing record since joining the NFL as an expansion team. The Jets and Browns have been pretty bad for most of that tenure, but again… the league didn’t start when the Panthers joined. I wouldn’t trade the history behind the Jets or Browns for the present day mediocrity of the Panthers lol

People were saying the Panthers wouldn’t win a game this year. People were saying all the rest of our players were useless. Of course we weren’t expecting to even make playoffs but we at least want so be a respectable NFL team. We’ve been mediocre for most of our history. Our expectations aren’t too high. With Bryce under center we looked like college teams could beat us. Is he an irredeemable bust? Maybe not but he’s definitely played like one.

Panthers have always been a good team when helmed by an effective qb. Even Rhule had Carolina at 3-0 with Darnold before all the injuries hit. 85% of fans wanted Stroud in that draft leading up to the pick. Bryce has simps bc hes well spoken and short. Never had the metrics for NFL. Nicole Tepper actually wanted CJ too.

This is classic Dalton. The answer to your question is no they do still suck. And he will probably have three or four games like this this year and possibly even take them out of the top ten for draft picks in 2025. But he will falter at any difficult point in the season. This is literally what he does every time.
