I will never understand the argument about supporting rival teams to do well in Europe. You’re telling me people spend all year slating each others teams and revelling in rivals teams getting beat in the league but when it comes to European competition, they should cheer them on?! As a diehard Gunner I never support any other team than my beloved Arsenal. And yes I do love football and I watch a lot of football but when an English club is involved in any competition I never never want them to win I always support the foreign club. I think people forget that when the foreign club wins you are not going to have to put up with their fans ✌🏼🙏🏼

Do they never stop to think that the further a club goes in Europe which isn't your own, the more revenue they get, and the more they can spend on becoming even stronger than your own club back in the domestic league. I'll continue supporting whoever plays english clubs

I always want the prem big 6 to lose in Europe just like i do in the league and domestic cup and there's nothing I like better than seeing them beaten in Europe and the best thing of all is when you get to the semi final stage and there's only one english club left out of the 12 clubs in the 3 comps and now are are in the finals and there's no English haha. I'm English and I take an interest in the foreign clubs and it's great to see. Like Atalanta v Leverkusen final is one for the purists.
