@@garymcaleer6112 WRONG! #1 Just anybody doesn't go to heaven (I have no clue if Andy Griffith or Bob Hope were Christians or not. But even if they DID make it to heaven, something tells me they won't be making anyone laugh) #2, and most important. The dead who die are NOT in their grave (I know this to be a fact. And you would also if you knew the Word). The very SECOND a Christians dies, they go to be with God (A Christian goes to be with God, so I can only assume that the non Christian goes to hell)

* Bob Hope often failed in his sketches to allow guests to reach their full comedic potential. When Don Rickles did a silly sketch with Bob I so wanted Don to step out of character and call Hope a has-been hockey puck but alas Don apparently had too much respect for Hope to do that even if it would've saved the sketch. ☺

This was from Bob's second NBC Chrysler special in the 1963-'64 season. And the amazing thing about them, was that he was also appearing weekly as host of "BOB HOPE PRESENTS THE CHRYSLER THEATER"- which was on film, in color. Yet, his own variety specials WEREN'T telecast in color until December 1965! That's Peter Leeds, a regular Hope "stooge", as the guy seated on the left in the cab...

He played in the Henry Aldrich series as Henry's friend, Dizzy Smith; needed "H2o" for his car while giving James Cagney Jive-talk lessons in "Yankee Doodle Dandy"; invited for Christmas dinner by Frank Morgan at the end of "The Shop Around the Corner"; along with countless other movies and television appearences.
