Life seems unfairly cruel at times. A jazz pianist who smoked from childhood lived to be 100, while Andy Kaufman quit first hand smoking and lived a healthy eating, reasonably healthy life and left this life at 35-from lung cancer. May he be at peace.
@ckdanekfan3397 Жыл бұрын
@@janetmiller2980 its genetics. There are various types of lung cancer, depends which type of cells are affected. Not every is connected to smoking. I think you're right... and paradoxically that's what makes him so uniquely funny when he is humorous... and that's what gives his act the special feeling that he conveys... of pushing the limits... I don't think its a show or a put on, the fact Andy comes across as someone that was fascinated by people and loved them, and loved putting on a good show, and make people happy. You might think differently from all his put ons where people got upset, but I don't think it contradicts. He liked people participating in the act, singing the songs, and being happy nonetheless. it comes across really well at his show at Carnegie Hall and the Milk and Cookies thing.

Much like "Luke, I am your Father" which is actually "NO!...I am your Father" or any number of lines from Casablanca that are not actually in the movie Casablanca like "Play it again Sam" which is never uttered in the film. On a slightly related note, there was never a Genghis Khan. His corrct title was Chingis Khan which was translated to I believe Latin as Chengis Khan, and misspelled by a historian as Genghis Khan a couple hundred years ago.
