sooriyah007 I'd recommend going to your local fish market/vendor super early in the morning so you can get some really fresh salmon. The taste of fresh salmon is super good.

I get salt doesn't cut through fishy taste but I don't recall saying that it does. I was just saying I should have used a little more salt in this would have tasted it better. And I also don't get the logic of calling somebody an idiot for not knowing something you know even if I wasn't misunderstood. Why do you feel the need to mean to people on the internet?

Made this last week. Simply amazing! I never thought to cover the salmon like that when i cook it.and i love trying new sauces at resturants but they sometimes serm hard to make. Turned out wonderful, and was easy to do. Thank you for the great recipe and easy to follow turorial. 😄

I'm lucky to have a meyer lemon tree in my backyard! Honestly nothing can compare to them....they're sweet, a beautiful color, and the peel is to die for. I don't think I've ever cooked with anything but them just because they're what I always have on hand!

I'm half Iranian and half Chinese and my dad only cooks ghormeh sabzi, and I learnt how to cook khoresh gheymeh from you (my fav persian dish/stew) I'm dying to learn more and cook more. When I find recipes online which is few and seldom I don't know how they'll turn out. Your khoresh gheymeh was perfecttttt. I loved it so much I'm making amother batch after my exams!

Once I accidentally made the __perfect__ crispy-skin salmon. I say accidentally because I did the same thing two weeks later and the skin was rubbery and the fish was dry.

Hey, I really love your videos but lately you guys have been working a lot with the grill. I think it is fair to say that a lot of people don't have that kind of grill in their kitchen nor are we (am I, actually) willing to grill outside for one recipe. It would be great if you could show some alternatives instead. Thanks for the video though.:)

This can be done in a skillet. It'll have more surface area for the fish to stick to, though, so it's more likely to stick. Oil well in that case. If you have a griddle pan, then you're set.

In addition to using a skillet, you can also do this in your oven with the broiler function. You'd just have to make sure that your salmon is far enough from the broiler so it doesn't burn in 2 minutes.

it's summer in the US. the assumption is that a lot of people are grilling. cook the salmon however you want.

You can also use a stovetop grill pan. They're made for when you want to grill something but dont wanna go through the process of the grill.

@@brandilyon I was going to comment this. Summer time is grilling time for most Americans. Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day, plus all the barbecues in-between. I have a neighbor who all of last summer seemed to grill every other week. Oh, how I wanted to just meander on over, lol.

I eat skinless raw salmon, no problem. I eat skinless smoked salmon, no problem. I eat skinless baked or grilled salmon, it will take me like three days to digest! Any ideas why?

I have a huge problem with ALL chefs who season meat and then oil it. WTH... Take your meat, oil it, THEN add salt and pepper so it sticks. I'm at a loss. Why? Why do they all do it in the reverse? You just lose the salt and pepper.

You can't use the white part of the lemon, is super bitter and it can be removed very easy
