Indeed. I started to learn guitar playing much more instensively since I saw exactly these videos :) And still Don Ross, Michael Hedges, Andy and Tommy are my favourite players :) I then gave up learning for some reasons, probably mainly cause of my laziness, but now I took guitar back into my arms and start learning again :) That time I somehow learnt how to play Aerial Boundaries and Tight Trite Night in somekind of simple versions, now I'm going to learn all those mindblowing tunes of the musicians above :)

This song is so good, it’s one of those songs that you can just change so easily and give it a different feel, my old teacher tried teaching me this song and I ended up playing it my own way that’s still evolving to this day and that’s what’s so great about this song, it’s so easy to get lost in and alter and make your own, it’s hard for anyone to make a song like that

@Justin McKee Andy's has a more percussive feel. Don's is more melodic, both are awesome. Also I wouldn't say this was a strict cover, this version got a lot more going on. More like Andy's version.

The reason why Mr. McKee is such a wonderfull artist/guitar player is his strength. Every song he plays, he has full dynamic controll. And that makes a clear sound of the strings, and the melody comes out just as Mr. McKee here intends. But manly, just a musical genius can perform songs like this. .. Thank you Mr. McKee.

It's a facet of fingerstyle, which is what he dominates so much at. He is flicking the sound board as he strums and hitting the strings in a more percussive way. Among other things, these get that awesome "how is one guy doing that" feel.

I've listened to this tune countless times now; I really like what Andy's added to the original. Loads of extras, character and intonation. It's a really timeless piece, and this just gives it that extra boost (for lack of words). When I play it, I mix Don's and Andy's version now as I think they work really well together. Cheers

Andrés Segovia would be delighted to meet such a talented performer. All the different colors - the guitar rediscovered as an orchestra, to its greater scale. In the words of the master, "the whole orchestra itself is contained within the guitar, but in smaller scale". May you live to your nineties and forward - mix talent with virtue and experience and you can keep amusing the whole world!
