I remember over 10 years ago watching this for the first time and thinking to myself, “This is so beautiful, if I ever have a daughter I’m naming her Rylynn.” Two weeks ago my wife and I found out were expecting a girl, her name is Rylynn Ann Skeen.

If you can play the first part half decently then you're not really that far off from being able to play the next section. Yes there are some awkward positionings but it really just takes getting used to. And if you learn how to play that part. Then you won't be far off from playing the outdoors either . There is a great Japanese tutorial for this song. The language doesn't matter because you can see the guitar and follow along with a tabkzbin.info/www/bejne/ZnbGgIVsobSAf6s

What a cherished moment in time, only brought through these mesmerizing notes. Thank you, Andy. This night belongs to you.

That is so true...it's sort of how classics never die, but with pieces that come from the heart...I mean you said it all. Time is irrelevant, culture is irrelevant, borders don't matter, language doesn't matter, it will never sound old. It never sounds trendy. It's above all of that...it beside it....Seriously great comment. You said it all.

I've listened to this song countless times since it's upload and to this day,I (personally) think this could well be the best sounding, finger style composition and performance out there (arguably, obviously). The entire song, note for note, string for string,is just fantastic and angelic.I doubt Mr.Mckee is reading this but,I would just like to say thank you for gracing us with this piece.

Had the lucky privilege of seeing him live at the Iowa State Univ. M-shop in what I think was 2008 since Gates of Gnomeria had just come out. Maybe 75 people there, and I spent the whole show with my mouth gaping open. I specifically remember him playing Rylynn and Africa, which just blew me away. His melodies evoke such specific emotions that I don’t think any other artist I’ve heard comes even close to.

I'm revisiting this song after almost 15 years, and i still remember the first time listening to this, sitting next to my parents bedroom at our old PC. I was completely blown away that someone could play guitar this good (since i started playing guitar at that age), had goosebumps everywhere and loved it instantly. I dont even know how this crossed my mind right now, it just did and now im listening, with a genuine smile on my face and really wet eyes - thanks for the sweet memories Andy, these were good times back then and i will remember this one for the rest of my live - at least i hope
