It’s taken me 13 years to learn the “easy” first half of this song on guitar. Today was the first time I played it along with the video, and it doesn’t sound terrible!

I also did an attempt of covering the song (it's on my channel) but I did it in standard tuning though.
@hitmanhatton3 жыл бұрын
If you can play the first part half decently then you're not really that far off from being able to play the next section. Yes there are some awkward positionings but it really just takes getting used to. And if you learn how to play that part. Then you won't be far off from playing the outdoors either . There is a great Japanese tutorial for this song. The language doesn't matter because you can see the guitar and follow along with a tabkzbin.info/www/bejne/ZnbGgIVsobSAf6s

I saw him in concert years ago, and he wrote this song in memory of a friends daughter who passed away at the age of 4yr. I appreciate the beauty of this song having been inspired by the loss of a loved one... quite moving.

Today is December 25, 2020 and still listening to this. The very first time I heard Rylynn was way back in 2010. This song always calms me whenever I feel down, and still is. One of the beautiful song I've ever heard.

I'm revisiting this song after almost 15 years, and i still remember the first time listening to this, sitting next to my parents bedroom at our old PC. I was completely blown away that someone could play guitar this good (since i started playing guitar at that age), had goosebumps everywhere and loved it instantly. I dont even know how this crossed my mind right now, it just did and now im listening, with a genuine smile on my face and really wet eyes - thanks for the sweet memories Andy, these were good times back then and i will remember this one for the rest of my live - at least i hope

There have been 11 years when i first listen to this wonderfull piece, i have put it on my phone as music voice mail, my girl friend was complaining that it was long and costs much every time, so i removed it after dozens of calls, my girl friend died few months later, and i did not heard this music since then, untill today 25/08/2020.. RIP Sheerazad, i ll never forget you :(

I remember when this first came out, I was about the 5,000th comment, and here we are at nearly 27milion views. This heartens my soul that this many people can recognise a piece of art and a musician when they see and hear one. Congratulations KZbin and the world for acknowledging Andy's work.

I found this song in 2010. Every time my thoughts are at their darkest, I've played this song. An for the past 8 years its been a go to. This song is my "Itl be okay" an Andy, if you ever actually read this. Thank you. You're music is transcendent and human to human, I appreciate your existence.
