Andy's playing is so pure. Got to meet him the other night and my friend who came with me had done a harp guitar gathering with him nearly a decade ago and Andy remembered his name. Just a great human being. Happy to have found his music 7 years ago

Listening to Andy's music always makes my heart simultaneously feel full, sad, peaceful and envious of his talent. Longtime fans, my son and I have seen him twice at The Foundry in Athens, GA. We finally got to meet and talk to him the second time around. Amazing how humble and personable he is, giving every fan his personal time and attention until everybody's gone. Truly a wonderful artist, who hasn't let his fame go to his head. We look forward to many more albums of enchanting music.

Where are the tabs for this?? I tuned my guitar to Bb Eb Bb C# Eb Bb to figure out what he is going but I am at a loss. I think my fingerings are off slightly or I'm not playing the right strings in the right timing. Maybe since he's using a baritone. if that makes a difference?
@RLN00116 жыл бұрын
So what is the actual tuning of the song. I know he said dadgad but he also said it was tuned to a B-flat. Anyone know what that means?
@SuperRocktron8 жыл бұрын
Beautiful guitar tone from what notes I could hear. I don't know if my sound system was having a moment of its own but if I didn't know the song was PR I don't think I would have been able to tell you what song it was, great story and I hope I can find another version of this song. Did anyone else have trouble hearing all the notes he was playing?

+stephen spaulding Baritone. Don't know the maker sorry.
@rbplaysa99olson8 жыл бұрын
+stephen spaulding It is a Dyer. They're known for harp guitars, but they're making regular guitars now also. Andy had one of their harp guitars, and is now playing the baritone acoustic as well.
@rbplaysa99olson8 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I actually asked him about that at his show in Houston a couple weeks ago. He said he still likes the Greenfields... he had the Greenfield harp guitar with him that night.... but said he was trying to tour with a more "affordable" guitar so when people ask him what guitar he's playing, he doesn't have to tell them a $ 20000 Greenfield. Kind of admirable...He's sensitive to stuff like that I think. A couple years ago he canceled a show in Houston because he thought the ticket prices were too high and wound up playing for free at some other bar in town. He's very devoted to his fans.
@starrdaneel8 жыл бұрын
Do you have the Tab for this version?
@Bluncher6 жыл бұрын
What is the tuning for this song? B flat. . That means exactly for the strings? Is just like standard tuning only down t low b?
