JCF played small and frightened in this match and he was never the same thereafter. It's like the occasion and the moment were too much to handle. That and AR's serve. Andy, on the other hand, almost surely would have won more slams had he stuck with Gilbert.

I am fan of Andy Roddick. This is his 1st Grand Slam and the only one. (US Open 2003). He was so close at Wimbledon 2009 Final 😢

@@religdeb That disrespect comes from himself. You can go listen to Roddick's own podcast and he says his backhand is compromised and he can't hit one. Look I like Roddick. My first racquet is a pure drive team plus because of Roddick. But he would be the first to admit that he was a one dimensional player with limited capabilities in many different strokes.
