@COLLENGIRL Thunder had some good moments but all his singles REALLY move around the A chord, gawd luv 'im. It's pretty cool he wrote and produced this, and some other tracks with ol' Steve Jones (Sex Pistols). That's him flailing away on rhythm in this clip.

I suspect one of the reasons he didn't sing in The Power Station was because the songs had been written in fashion that made singing and playing guitar at the same time difficult. So when Robert Plant dropped out, it was probably considered better to get someone else do vocals.

If it was catchy then it sounded good and got air time. everything was so innocent. the biggest scandal was dealing arms to the contras for the release of hostages. old man Reagan getting caught in a deception which he readily admitted in front of the nation and was subsequently forgiven. ah... so innocent.
