im sorry but the whole band here is the reason we all listen to her ,if it wasnt for mick needing a guitar player you wouldnt have heard of her ,so lets give credit in all aspects of fleetwoodmac,christine is one of the best woman singers out there and songwriter also ,then lmick and john ,they are a single perfect soul in musicindsey ,
@guitarplayer28465 жыл бұрын
It wasn;rt just Stevie Nicks. Fleetwoid Mac was a band. They were all fantastic, espescially Lindsay. After Peter Green, Buckingham-Nicks joined and the new band was magical.

@@benjamin6492 Yes, we all know the story. And....we do NOT know that no one would have ever head of Stevie Nicks if Mick didn't need a guitar player. My money is on she would have joined another band. She is a gifted songwriter and singer (she wasn't just Lindsey's girlfriend). Why can't Chaz st.claire make a comment without being reprimanded/reminded of "the story" and that Stevie Nicks owes her life to Lindsey (if anything Lindsey owes his life to Stevie). The genius of FM is all of their talents collectively (but mostly the talent of Stevie Nicks).
@scarletttrinity40084 жыл бұрын
@@benjamin6492 Yes she got a lucky break, but let's not forget the only #1 song they ever had was hers. Stevie has carried them for years! All you have to do is look at the success of Mick and Lindsey's solo careers. Stevie is by far more successful. When it came down to the bitter end" him or me" they kept the money maker.

I've watched this performance probably twenty times or more over the years and still can't figure out why so many say she was high. She's bright eyed. She's hitting her marks,not early not late. Christine Cotterell What a prepubescent, sheltered outlook on art and life and the world. Drugs, mind altering substances and the human indulgence in these have been around as long as the human race. And discounting any art simply because you allege to detect an indulgence is going to knock you out of any possible appreciation of a vast majority of the greatest music and literature of the past one hundred years and more. Artists are not elementary school teachers, role models, or pastors. They're not there to set an example for how to live. They're simply there for you to enjoy their work if it happens to do something for you. This finger wagging sanitization of the arts is the reason culture has become so sterile and disposable. Meaningless pop has always been around but nowadays that's all you have because attitudes like yours have scared record companies away from anything bearing the slightest hint of danger. Very tragic, but at least I lived those glorious golden years of classic music.
