Maybe you’ll never see this comment but my mom passed away about 3 months ago...I am seventeen and my name is Rhiannon. My mother and father were at one of your concerts and she was pregnant with me, she was screaming to you and pointing at her belly while you were singing this song “I’m naming my baby girl this!” She went into labor that same day. Just thought I’d share that with you... I love your music and she did too

Did you see her in the 70's? every time I saw her she was like this. It was fantastic I don't care if she was on drugs. I could be mistaken, but I believe this version of Rhiannon is called "rosebud.". another very similar performance was Rhiannon on The Midnight Special in '77 I think. I snuck a cassette recorder into their concert in 1978. I wonder if I uploaded it if I would get in trouble. the way she sang Sisters of the Moon is up there with the two Rhiannon's. Sadly, it's because of performances like this that her vocal cords were damaged. I read that she had to be trained to sing in a different way that wasn't so harmful to her vocal cords. RIp Christine. You will be missed so.

Stevie Nicks has something interesting to say about this video as it was originally part of a movie of them performing different songs and interviews in between. She mentions the clip was just them practicing in a rehearsal hall and their was nobody in the seats. It wasn't meant to be an official video for the song. It was just filming a practice as they were probably getting ready to go out on a tour and wanted material to review. Probably why John is just wearing shorts. Thank god they had some decent recording of their amps and mics going on. Stevie just shrugged her shoulders when told how much play the clip was getting all over the world. Really goes to show how on top of their game they were at that time period, especially Stevie.

@@brewsterly2927 - That one does rock. Slicker camera work, same non-LP version as this. But Lindsey’s solo is sorta halfhearted (and half as long), and somehow Stevie doesn’t quite cut loose for the last couple minutes. She almost does, but it’s like: Nah, it’s daytime, I’m gonna keep a little in reserve. Whereas here, it could be some club in the middle of the night, and the whole band are off their t*ts. Just my opinion :-)

I am over 60 Yrs old, and I have yet to see, Anyone, compare, or match this, Ever !! Sublime. Stevie Nicks set the Standard, that no one, has yet reached- NO 'AI' or manipulative technology involved here- 1975. Just Raw Talent, Power/Energy and Soul, quite literally poured into this performance, to the point that Stevie, literally collapses, at the end ! Perfection !❤🙏🥰 Long live, the Lady of Rock. Xxxx 😘

Stevie back then had what Janis Joplin had..and Stevie saw Janis in action when Stevie and Lindsey were in Fritz. It’s not so much that the torch bearers aren’t out there, it’s just that the music industry has ditched the music bit of their name. @@virginiaviola5097 Rick Beato did a video about this very thing. The record labels don't have any faith in young artists anymore to write their own songs. Most pop these days are written by a large number of writers and given to a singer to sing. Look at the writing credits on a lot of current popular songs...the list is long. Back in the 60 and 70's especially they let the artists write the stuff...with some input from the labels of course but they let them grow as writers even if it took several albums to finally write a masterpiece. They don't have that kind of patience today...like you said, they just want to churn out material and make fast money.....it's a shame because there has got to be lots of talent out there that isn't given the chance that these artists had. I fully believe there are genius song writers out there today who could do things this wonderful if given the chance and the time to grow.

Christine is the musical genius behind Fleetwood Mac. I spend hours just listening to her whimsical riffs on the myriad keyboards she plays. She is definitely underrated as a musician, but it's obvious she makes her own statements. What I wouldn't give to anchor a rhythm section with her, improvising on some of the standards from the great American songbook. At the very least, I would love to hear a recording of her performing such.
