Hey Andy, what software did you use for screen-recording this video tutorial? This is something I have to start learning in 2021, and I barely know where to begin, other than asking creators what they use.

Hi Purple Pebble - I use one of the 3 screen recording programs: Snag-It, OBS, or Quicktime. I haven't landed on the most efficient workflow yet as I am also still learning. 😀

How to I add categories? My MS To Do doesn’t have categories tab on the side like yours.

Hmmm... Categories feature isn't something you should have to add/enable. Are you using the web app or the desktop version of To Do? Also, what version Outlook are you using?

@@xrudeboy195 The only info I've been able to find is that this may be a bug. See post from the Microsoft community site - tinyurl.com/1lo8bumw. I know this isn't helpful. Sorry.

Once again, even a year after this video, MS disappoints with no integration into outlook mobile. Completely ignoring how people on the go would need access to their tasks or todo. Gotta wonder if they use their own product.

Your explanation is very good. Myself I switch between Google Tasks, Samsung Reminders, and Microsoft To Do. Truly I need focusing on one app. Suggestion: Do not have background music, quickly it become annoying and distracting. We came to hear you, but we must fight the din of thump-thump background music; a.k.a. noise. It is beyond me why KZbin Content creators think it necessary or important playing background music over their voice. Try the following: at your next business meeting or client meeting when a speaker begins talking turn up some background music. My bet you will not be popular.

Thanks Ric for watching the video and for your feedback. Yes, I've received similar feedback in regards to background music from other viewers and have either lowered the music to very faint levels or eliminated it altogether in more recent videos. I can't speak for other KZbinrs but the reason why I'm inclined to include background music is to avoid the dead silence in-between talking segments; which can be jarring in itself. In any case, will continue to experiment for the right balance. Thanks again for your comment.

@@AndyPark365 Hi Andy, thank you for your polite reply, much appreciate it. Your comment "...is to avoid the dead silence in-between talking segments..." no it is not jarring. Many high volume KZbin content creators do not have music. Myself and other would rather deal with a bit of dead space than the music.
