Teezo had a really cool inflection that reminded me of how Andre 3000 would sing almost. But the backdrop was anything but cheerful on Modern Jam. Super sinister, super futuristic. It was fantastic. I also might like Meltdown more as a Travis and Drake Song over Sicko Mode because I LOVED the way Drake rapped on it. Super gritty, petty, and to the point. A lot like the verses on IYRTITL. Was really impressed with this album and it felt like a return to form for a darker Travis. And a true successor to the Rodeo era. Which is my personal fav, and before it even released I was super hopeful and excited because I had a feeling based on the cover art.

In India it dropped at 9:30 in the morning and i woke up all sleepy and saw utopia on spotify and just could not believe that we were finally in UTOPIA , every song gave me new feeling and when i reached til futher notice i didnt wanted it to end man... still hats off to my one of the top artist for giving us this masterclass no one can make music like this at his level. cheers to andy too... love ur content on ig

I commend this reaction of the album and I think it’s an absolute masterpiece. However, I’d disagree putting songs like Gods Country and Lost Forever so low, they are like some of the top songs personally for me. Other than that, great rating and I’d fully agree with you being a 9/10. Bought it on Vinyl as well.

When Mr Morale dropped, it had a higher Spotify debut than Utopia has had. Even without that stat though, the sheer amount of people talking about and anticipating Mr Morale was certainly at LEAST equal to that of Utopia
