Andy from my comments you probably figured out now I’m not a youngster your patience and Undying drive for precision is just killing me I can’t get enough of these videos I contacted some old friends we’re all retired now but young at heart. This is great! Ive recently picked up a scrappy old Xs11 '79 and ive been a bit intimidated at first (partly because this bikes been alive twice as long as I have) and have very little experience with 4 cylinder bikes (Motocrosser). Lots of awesome information here and some really useful practical knowledge that xs11.com can't quite provide. It is really appreciated and interesting! Thanks Andy

Hello and thanks for the video series. I just bought a xs11 and found your channel, really glad to have such a good resource. I've got a question about the tach pickup wire. Where did you get the signal wire at? Did you use the coil for the signal or somehow use the factory 3 pin connection. I'm currently wiring up a new gauge cluster and thats my last connection. Thanks again!

On the Acewell speedo I used a coil wire induction but it wasn’t very good. My Speedhut unit uses the factory tachometer wire and is faultless
