Hi Pete, brilliant video mate, you always amaze me with your knowledge of all the different makes and models of the different manufactures out there you don't just know about one single manufacture but pretty much everyone out there and I'm like 🤯😂I don't know how you do it🤷♂ Anyway the little Kiwami did a good job on the clearcoat the fan wasn't that big but it did look nice and wet, I understand what you were saying that a different gun may have made it easier probably the X5500 or the WS400 would have been a better choice🤔🙄😂the final finish looked great though mate it was spot on as a OEM finish👏👊 Thanks Pete keep them videos coming🙏👍

Hi John, Yes mate, the little Kiwami 1 did a good job, I would have been better of with a different version, but, I realised I hadn't reviewed this one at all, so it's good to get a video up of it. I am really into these various guns, so I tend to keep a good knowledge of most of them, people are often asked questions about different guns so it's handy I know the answers, for the most part anyways, cheers mate 👍

Yeah I know you got some nice little guns from Japan, it's a shame they aren't available here but I suppose shipping them over then finding a supplier here would be expensive. When it comes to the different guns we don't need google we just ask our local consultant Mr Pete🤭😂

@JohnWD40TC02 There's now an official Meiji Importers in the UK, BBS solutions beyondsurfacesolutions.co.uk/ They have only recently started distribution, so you may well see some more of the Meiji guns over here. Cheers mate 👍

Hi Pete, another great video. Looks like the next storage rack you build should be for your clears and solvent bottles. Pretty organized but takes up a lot of your work space. Just a thought.
@peteshobbies53832 ай бұрын
Hi Scott, There will be room on my rack for most of those bottles in the end, so yes, a good idea, cheers mate 👍

Hear you on that one Pete. I was spraying bike parts with a Sata3000rp & it blew a side panel that was taped well onto a stand clean off. Needless to say I had to start again! My best gun for small parts is a Sata minijet4 1.2. Have a 1.0 also. There is literally no force but a beautiful gun to use. Almost zero overspray too. A bit old for you I guess as I’ve never seen you review one. Never too late!
@peteshobbies53832 ай бұрын
Hi Mate, Yeah, it's something I try to tell people when they message me. You need to find something that's suitable for what you do most of, which isn't always the best of the best. I just had a look at the Sata 4. There's a nice one on Ebay at the moment, I've managed to resist for the moment 😀, cheers mate 👍

Hi Pete A correction to my comment above. My Sata minijet4 is a 1.0 & I have a 0.8. That’s why the overspray is almost non existent.👍

I want to buy some cheap clear for practicing before I spray on my parts. In general, the setting on the gun should be pretty much the same with cheap and even expensive clear? (2k clear)
@peteshobbies53833 күн бұрын
Hi Mate, Yes, more or less, but you will find your speed and distance may change a little depending on materials, but it's not normally a lot

hi mate, in ur experience between this iwata and meiji Fzero type C with has better flatness result? thanks mate
@peteshobbies53832 ай бұрын
Hi Mate, probably the Meiji Finer Force C. However, they are quite different, Meiji is much slower , needs a good quality clear to work well, as an all-rounder, the Iwata is better, or a different Finer Force

Hello my friend Pete, is the Kiwami1 rifle the same as the old W101. I think it has been discontinued.
@peteshobbies53832 ай бұрын
Hi Mate, Yes, the W101 is still available in some countries, but many places the Kiwami 1 is replacing it 👍
@kingdavid47252 ай бұрын
I think it is stock and not currently being manufactured @peteshobbies5383

So, off the top of your head, how many guns do you actually have..??
@peteshobbies53832 ай бұрын
Hi buddy, I have never counted, and that is on purpose. It certainly is a lot, but I think knowing the amount I have would seriously make me question my sanity , so I just don't count them 😀

Hi Pete, Just a suggestion - don't show yourself warming the clear in the microwave then you don't have to go through the same disclaimer every video.
@peteshobbies53832 ай бұрын
Hi Ken, Yeah, I had thought about that, maybe I'll leave it in sometimes and not others, if you leave it out people ask how do I warm my clear so it's always a juggling act, cheers mate 👍

@peteshobbies5383 hi pete I have a Technical question for you do the new sagola upgrade basecoat gun 4600 with the black cap for basecoat lay down base as well as the iwata lph 400 with the orange cap - which lays down basecoat the best thanks
@peteshobbies53832 ай бұрын
@refinishtechnology2529 Hi buddy, I don't have the new Sagola base cap yet, so I can't say for sure. People are telling me that the new black base cap is laying base better than the Aqua cap in general although the split tip Iwata is pretty good for base so I would doubt the Sagola is better, sorry I can't be more help 👍
