Robert Jones Sounds to me that your belt is rubbing on something. Perhaps the loose end is too long and rubbing on the teeth of the belt. If it's not that. Then they sell idler pulleys that have teeth in them which will conform to the teeth on the belt far better than a smooth pulley.

seriously you need to just get rid of that acrylic frame with 400 3mm nuts and bolts and go to the AM8 extrusion build. Every time I printed something on my Anet A8 I found a 3mm nut that I had no idea where it came from. There just not worth the tiem it takes to print all these little upgrades, just got for the proper AM8 build right out of the gate and you will be happier!

Keep watching dude. In later videos, I plasma cut a steel frame that is way more rigid than an am8 frame.

Yes, I speak french, but I do not write it so well since it has been 40 years since I have written in french. I can still read it and speak it but I lack practice for writing french. Maybe you can give me an idea what you need help with and perhaps I can make a video. Or you can go to one of the Facebook 3d printer pages for specific help. I will not do videos in french since 99 percent of my watchers speak english.
