My wife's family is from Pohost region of Belarus. We are polish living in Canada. We love "placki ziemniaczane" or potato cakes. My mother-in-law was born there and visited with her sister that was also born there. We would love to visit one day, but also to learn more about today's Belarus and its people. I have watched several of your videos and I love them.

Thanks for your Grandmother's recipe for cooking the Belarus national dish of Draniki. Good healthy, light and tasty choice with the coconut oil. The sour cream and basil are good looking accompaniments. Some berries or berry jam would also work well with them IMO. Good to get a cultural insight into Belarus cuisine 😋👩🏻🍳🍒
