There is a powerful folklore behind this music and it's theme.. It was about a beautiful maiden who could not find a worthy suitor of many young men who asked for her hand in marriage until she met Ori..head.. Head came to her, he was an epitome of perfection she sought and so much desired.. After the whole bethrothal ritual was done.. the beautiful maiden was taken from her family to where it would be her home.. On the way, Ori returned all the borrowed body parts that made him the perfection until what was left is the head.. 🗣️ Now the beautiful maiden could not escape the entrapment as their were three creatures that sang the very song as she tried to escape and Ori will not let her escape...

Really? Looks pretty typical of the era to me. Everything's gold and spinning, and so much early CGI where the creators were so busy asking whether or not they could that they forgot to ask whether they should. You don't get much more mid-nineties than this without bringing out the boy bands.

The song is from an old folklore tale, it's basically about a young beautiful woman named Olajumoke, Who was lured into marry a man because of his wealth and good looks without realising he was a spirit who only had a head without a body. When she realised what he was it was too late and every time she'd try to leave the other spirits would alert the head by screaming ori ori ori o ola jumoke n lo. (ori means head in my language) (olajumoke was the girl's name) (Lo means going). So they would call the head to tell him that the girl was trying to escape and he would come and stop her. She was trapped with a spirit who only had a head and no physical body. The moral of the story is that not all that glitters is gold, so don't be fooled by superficial things because things aren't always what they seem.
