Minimum wage was $3.50 back in 1981. My first job was a dishwasher during weekend while I went to private business college full time as I got a scholarship and student loans. Work hard, save smart, and retire early. Cheers!

@@angkhmerus2046 There are all kind of scammers out there and be careful. Due to my age, I won't invest in Bitcoin as it's a high risk investment. I have invested with my 401k, traditional IRA, and roth IRA over the 30 years and I don't rely on my social security benefits. For the 401K and IRA, you are paying taxes later. For Roth IRA, you are paying taxes now. You should spread your investments. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Make sure to invest with well-known investors. My top three investors would be Charles Schwab, Fidelity, and Vanguard. Good luck with your investment for your retirement!

As I researched via google, Boston, Massachusetts minimum wage is 14.25$ per hour for non-tipped employees, tipped employees (defined as employees who receive more than 20$ a month in tips) are 6.15$ per hour.
