Ok I'll explain the questions you just asked. So when Angel was sent to the Swammy or shrink, it was set up to keep Angel away from protecting Virginia so that other guy Paul Lanier would sent after goons to kidnap Virginia. Paul Lanier and her father Magnus Bryce are rivals in business/wizardry, so Magnus Bryce wanted Angel to protect Virginia before the sacrifice is done while Lanier wanted to take Viginia away. So it was Lanier that set up Angel on a goose chase, not Virginia's father. Even if she was going to be sacrificed, her father was going to get more power from it, and Lanier wanted that power taken away from him. I hope that clears it up. Also in case you're wondering, the fake T'ish Magev was there in place because the informant that told Lanier where Angel would be was apparently the bartender over where The Host works, the fake T'ish Magev said the bartender's name during the phone conversation with Lanier.

My favorite parts of this episode: Wes's goofiness mixed with the way experience and his natural intelligence are increasing his skills, Angel and his obsession with his outfit, and the eunuch joke. Ohh I haven't seen this episode in a long time and I forgot how hilarious it is. The part where Wesley walks in with that long Angel coat introducing himself as Angel made me laugh so hard (was hoping your reaction would be just about the same lol). I love that this show creates so many plot twists in each episode as if you've figured it out and then bam! Gunn gets knocked out by that guy who happens to be fake but then before that you knew there was something fishy about him when he talked to that other guy on the phone. The highlight for me was Wes drinking blood! So nasty!! Thanks for this reaction!

Ya see, this is a funny episode because back when they first met David, billionaire nerd guy, and he assumed the handsome muscular guy was Angel you made some offhand comment about how Wes could be Angel. Also, on the show Raising Hope, there's a married couple of Burt and Virginia, and Burt somewhat regularly wears a shirt that says "I'd rather be in Virginia". Raising Hope is a great show.

There were two factions in this episode, Virginia's dad, and his enemies. The dad wanted Angel to protect Virginia so he could sacrifice her on his birthday in exchange for a lot of power. The dad's enemies wanted to kidnap Virginia so that the dad wouldn't be able to get that power. Someone at Caritas tipped the dad's enemies that Angel was going to speak to the guru guy, so the enemies had the guru killed and impersonated to keep Angel from protecting Virginia from being kidnapped. Phew! I hope that made a lick of sense.

To clear things up a bit, The Host sent Angel to the Swami, who was replaced by a guy sent by Paul Lenier (Virginia's dad's rival) so Angel would be out of the way and unable to protect her. This gave Wesley a way in, by posing. Then hilarity ensued.

It was Lennier, the rival of Virginia's father that hired the guy to distract Angel. Then, when Wesley was giving his people trouble, he made it known that Wesley couldn't be Angel to remove the protection that Virginia did have.

In the Halloween episode of Buffy angel in Cordelia start speaking at the bronze.asr " you an angel will never be anything not even friends" I told you a couple statement in that episode made me laugh. And I would tell you why later This episode "stay away from my cordy my queen"heee hehe

The point of the title is that it is spelled like dis"guise." Unlike the last episode this episode is almost out of place in S2 as it is a favorite of mine. It starts Angel on the road of showing him using humor. This is actually the first time in either BtVS or AtS that Angel's curse is clarified that it was sex with Buffy that made him happy and not just sex which during both shows initial runs had fans very confused for the two and a half years since 'Innocence.' I am so glad I am not the only one who took Angel's question in the same way a teenage boy always would. Virginia told her father she probably just brought Angel there at gunpoint. So when she finds out Wesley isn't Angel she has an understanding of why he would have needed to lie and that means that the reason she is upset is because he didn't explain to her who he was before they had sex. There's a morally grey area there between the two with that situation where sex is involved. Don't think it is as bad as the 'r' word or even as bad as to create any other legal issues, but there seems to be more issues behind it than just Wesley lying about who he was.

The DAD wanted Angel to guard her, the RIVAL sent the shrink guy up there to sidetrack Angel so he could kidnap Virginia and stop the ritual. He then tipped off Virginias dad to... I dunno, brag? Free her up to be kidnapped again? If that's the case he clearly failed even without Wes. Anyway, this is a one time story arc that never comes up again, so no spoilers.

At the same time though it kind of bothered me the part when Angel gets advice from the fake zen master guy, and Angel has his issues with Darla OK thats FINE, but then when he says oh find another beautiful blonde girl and fall in love with her... n Angels like UHHH. So as a Buffy fan that really bugged me, I think the writers writing that into the story kind of made it cheapen the relationship between angel and buffy, like the only reason he started being with her was because she looked like Darla.
