I love this show. Angel really came into his own and became a great character on his own show (dare I say better then Buffy herself), and his chemistry with Cordelia is off the charts. They're adorable together.

I love these two as friends. Hard to like them as a couple because so much went to hell when that happened. It's just nice seeing how much love and affection was there before there was even romance.

Right, plus it never actually ''happened'', they were never a couple, only just started developing feelings for each other... Anyway, I agree with you, they were brilliant as friends. Not every man/woman TV duo has to become a romantic couple. It was moving to see them being such great friends.

Cordelia denied the truth about she always really secertly in love with Angel ever since in 1997 as they saw each other at first moment in Bronze nightclub. She have biggest crush on him since she was 10th grade high school sophomore. She doing that since 10th grade. She pretty darn good at it. I get she buried her feelings for him as she doesn't want to be rejected by true man of her life Angel.

No she took a shine to him back then. But when she came to LA they were good friends and working together for a while and spend time together their chemistry grew and their love bond then developed feelings grew between them. They had a real grown up love. Their characters developed also this grown up love.
